So, if you are new to this YouTube channel then I urge you to subscribe to this channel, and after watching this video, watch my previous two videos as well and learn some very useful tips and tricks of SEO.

Now without wasting any more time, let's start.

So, I am using Ahrefs which is the best-paid keyword research tool and this is my favorite tool also.

And we are going to conduct keyword research for blogs right now. Therefore, we have to focus on long-tail keywords which are widely used to find informational blogs and articles.

So in the keyword explorer tab, you can see that we have so many search engines available here.

By default, your option will be selected to google and if you want to get keywords from other search engines, you have to select them one by one.

Like we have youtube here, which is to find video keywords.

After that we have amazon, and then bing search engine.

After the bing, we have a yahoo search engine.

After that, we have a Russian search engine Yandex and when you will click on the More button you will see four other search engines like Baidu, Daum, Naver, and Seznam.

After that, you can see a dropdown below which is already set to India.

You can find keywords according to the location.

When you click on this dropdown you can see a big list of countries and you can select any country to find the keywords from the selected region.

You should remember the fact that some of the keywords are used globally and some keywords are generic. But search volume of the keywords changed with the locations.

This means if a keyword has a search volume of 10k in India, then maybe that keyword has a search volume of around 1k in the united states.

Now, I have selected the USA and google search engines.

Now let's put a keyword that is a very common keyword and used globally. Of course, we will not choose a long-tail keyword. We will choose a keyword that is generic and contain one word only.

Let's write the keyword "fitness".

Fitness is a very common keyword and it is also a one-word keyword which we generally call short-tail keywords.

Now we will click on the search icon button and will see the result for this particular keyword.

So as we can see here, the keyword difficulty is around 93 which is super hard to achieve.

According to the statement, we will need backlinks from the 1033 website to rank on the first page of Google with this keyword.

After that, we can see keyword volume which is showing 97k which is a very huge number.

After that, we can see clicks that this keyword receives which is 37k, which is also a very huge number.

After that, if we see global volume, we can see 915k search volume worldwide. And below that, you can see the search volume of different countries as well.

So basically, this tool is not so accurate in displaying the accurate search volume of keywords but this tool shows us other metrics that are useful like, keyword difficulty and the number of backlinks we need to rank on google.

Now if we scroll down a little bit more then we can see some other options too which we really need to know about.

Here we can see keyword ideas and because we are looking for the long-tail keywords for the blogs then we have to select the question keywords.

Because questions are written long that's why they are long-tail keywords.

And because normally people read blogs to get specific information that's why always consider question-based keywords to write a blog or article.

Now if we see a little bit down, we can see view more options. Let's click on that and see more question keywords.

Now let's see the keywords by scrolling down.

Okay, now let's filter the result by keyword difficulty. In the minimum field, I will put 0 and in the maximum field I will put 5 and after that, I will click on apply button.

So, now we have the relevant keywords with the lesser keyword difficulty and we will select the best topic and keywords out of this big list of keywords.

If you see the first keyword when is planet fitness opening, it has a search volume of 2.3k and keyword difficulty is 5 only, I can choose this keyword but I won't because this is not the topic I am gonna get a blog on.

Let's scroll down and see if we can find any relevant keyword which I can get the best blog written by a content writer.

Okay, so after filter out the results once again by selecting a word from the terms section on the left-hand sidebar, I am getting some more results.

Here are the keyword results related to the term "important" which means all the long-tail keywords which are containing the term important will be displayed to me because I have order Ahrefs to do it for me.

But to be very true, I am not satisfied with the result again, let me see another relevant keyword which I think I am comfortable with writing a blog on it.

Okay, after selecting the word personal, I got some more results that seem fine to me.

The first keyword which is having a keyword difficulty of 1 and a search volume of 350 is a good choice.

I am gonna open the word counter and select all the relevant keywords related to the "what is the first step in developing a personal fitness plan" and gonna save them into the word counter.

So now, I have found the relevant keywords on which I will be able to get content written around.

Also, these keywords are lesser in keyword difficulty but somehow they are having a good search volume. So let's consider them a good selection for blogs.

Now, I am opening the google keyword research tool and I am gonna find out the actual search volume and keyword difficulty on this google tool.

Okay guys, so now we will learn how to do keyword research with SEMrush.

SEMrush is also a paid tool and we will use this tool to analyze the already founded keywords.

We will just check the keyword difficulty and their search volumes. Because every paid tool works differently from others that's why chances are the difficulty and search volumes of the keywords will be different.

Right now, I am using the screenshots of the SEMrush tool.

I will use the keywords overview tool to just check out the search volume and difficulty level of the keywords.

You will be able to see this option on the left-hand vertical sidebar in the SEMrush tool.

After selecting this option, you can analyze up to 100 keywords at one time.

Right now, we have 4 keywords so let's paste them in the box and select the location as united states, and hit the green analyze button.

After the loading of the results, we are able to see a few of the metrics that you are seeing in the screenshots.

The search volume of the keywords is showing between 0 to 10 which is lower than expected.

We will not look up at trends because we don't trust the trend here.

Keyword difficulty is not available. This means these keywords are easy to rank on google.

Whenever you will find keyword difficulty as not available that means the keywords are easier to rank. It is not an error of this tool or not even a glitch.

Now, after using the SEMrush tool, we are sure that the keywords we have chosen to write a blog on are the best keywords.

Assign the topic and keywords to your content writer and ask them to write as long content as they can and stuff the keywords exact in the content with making them bold.

Also, ask your content writer to do competitor research first so that they can take ideas and suggestions before creating the content.

I am 100% sure that, if you will be able to get content using this keyword research technique, you will be able to rank your blog without any backlinks just like I did and shown you in my last video.

But if somehow, your keywords are not ranking, then make sure that you have enough domain authority to beat the competitors that are ranking on the first page of google.

If you do not know how to increase the domain authority of any website, watch my very first video to see the live experiment.

So, we have done with how to do the keyword research for blogs with google keyword research tool, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.

If you don't have any paid tool, you have to rely on Google's free keyword research tool. Also, you will have to spend a long time finding the low competition keywords with high search volume metrics.

Now, we have already learned how to do keyword research for blogs.

But what if we have an eCommerce website or we have a service-based website or we have a fresh new website that we want to rank on Google's first page.

Here are some solutions. You better take a notepad and pen to write down the tips and tricks I am gonna tell you about

The first tip is,

You have to do keyword research the same way I did to find blog keywords. You have to find lower competition keywords with great search volume. However, if the search volume is lower then it's okay but try to find lower competition keywords first.

The second tip is,

Always cross-check the keywords for their data accuracy. You can use any paid or free tools for this purpose.

The third tip is,

For an eCommerce and services-based website, use both high and medium competition level keywords. But when you are about to publish on-page blogs on your website, always target lower competition keywords to rank your blog.

The fourth tip is,

Always use high-volume services and eCommerce services-based keywords in your blogs. You have to use these keywords in blogs to hyperlink them to their target pages.

This is because if your blogs are somehow ranking on google and getting some sort of traffic then chances are one might be able to land on your services pages by clicking the hyperlink text and purchases your services or products.

On the other hand, when Google bots will crawl your blogs, they will be able to crawl your service pages too and in this way, your services or product pages will get a chance to rank on google with relevancy.

The final and fifth tip is,

If somehow you are not ranking on google, try to make backlinks for the blogs and make sure to make only do-follow backlinks. If you are doing the process in the correct way, chances are you will be able to rank your blog, services pages, and product pages on google.

So I hope I have cleared all the things correctly and in detail.
